Hi Donal,

Many thanks for that.

I'm using the Mac Mini, though primarily with Windows XP. Sacralidge??

I didn't realise Safari was due for an update, so it's good to know to
avoid it.

When updates are available, I normally download everything. So I'll
examine the dialogue carefully next time, and uncheck Safari.

Regards,

Eamonn

HI,
I would avoid upgrading to Safari 5 at the moment. From comments on the
Macvisionaries list, it seems to be creating a few problems with voiceover.

Particularly noteworthy is the fact that audible.com is causing the
combination of Safari and Voiceover to crash. Secondly, people are
reporting that large blocks of text are being randomly skipped.

I've no idea how many mac users there are on the list, but hope this info
helps.

Cheers
