Hello Suzen,

I haven't been following Email much today as their really slow to take down when not in the office. However, I take from the messages from your self and Sabrina that you are not receiving attachments when they come in?

If so: and your using Outlook Express try the following:

1.  Go into Outlook Express.
2.  Press alt and T to jump to the Tools menu.
3.  Press the letter o until you hear options.
4.  Hold control and tap the tab key until you get to Seuurity.
5.  Press the tab key on its own until you hear a check box saying something like "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". If this box is checked, press space to uncheck it.

Now, you can try receiving the attachment again.

Hope this helps.

hi sibrena

no, this email has no attachment on it.

I'm just curious as I am expecting emails in from different companies and as I don't
normally receive emails from them I don't know just what I'm looking for when they
come in to my in box, and as I'm sure you can appreciate I don't want to just open
any email if it doesn't sound familiar

many thanks susan

Hi Susan,

Is it saving an email which has a file attached?
If so:
1. highlight the email.
2. activate the file menu.
3. go to 'save attachments' submenu and hit enter. the name given to the
file should appear. hit enter again.
4. the normal save as dialogue box will come up. asking for file name...
then in the 'save in' box you can do whichever you do usually. hit the
number 3 for 3 and a half inch floppy or arrow to the floppy drive and hit
enter.
5. just do alt s or tab round to save button.

Regards,

Sabrina
