Tom,

A shop called Back from the Future in Aungier street are selling an I Audio
player, formally the I River, for just under â400.00.

While I have yet to see it, a friend purchased it today and is raving about it
in terms of ease of use.

It can take rockbox, speech software, freely available, and is an excellent
recorder.

It boasts a 30 gig hard drive and is, in the main, fully accessible.

I don't like the idea of the Mildstone because it is a specialist product, and
goes against the principles of universal design.

Stuart.
