It works well on the latest daily build, I'm not sure if all its features are accessible just yet though.

Rockbox has huge potential, especially now that they are getting into the Ipod range too.

Ok. I didn't check that out.

Do you know if the iAudio player works with rockbox?

I see mention of the iAudio x5 on rockbox.org, but I don't know at what
stage of development it is at.

Hi Tim and all,

It looks, according to Amazon, that the Iriver on their site can only be
shipped within the US.

Regards,

Stuart.

Hi,

You can get the 20 gb version of the iRiver players for
199 dollars on amazon.com.

Given the euro dollar rate at the moment that is a huge saving on buying it
here in Ireland.

All you need to get in addition, is a basic US to UK/ireland
power adapter for use when charging the player.

Tim

Tom,

A shop called Back from the Future in Aungier street are selling an I Audio
player, formally the I River, for just under €400.00.

While I have yet to see it, a friend purchased it today and is raving about
it in terms of ease of use.

It can take rockbox, speech software, freely available, and is an excellent
recorder.

It boasts a 30 gig hard drive and is, in the main, fully accessible.

I don't like the idea of the Mildstone because it is a specialist product,
and goes against the principles of universal design.

Stuart.
