yes, you're right. That was a slip on my part. It is shift+JAWS+v. The
other keystroke is for getting the application version of the currently
running program.

Actually the personalise settings options is invoked with the jaws key +
shift + v key combination.
Where for most people the Jaws key is the insert key.

There is also a related group of settings called Personal Options or, in
previous JAWS, Personal Verbosity Settings Options, which applies to a
particular Web page such as RTÉ, or any other page you may pick; and this
dialogue is activated with shift-ctrl-v on the Web page in question. When
you make changes here, these changes are retained for JAWS during future
visits to the site, so that JAWS knows to disable Flash when on this site,
or whatever. All of these options can be toggled between two or three
states with the spacebar.
Cearbhall: the listserver software appears to be adding new [vicsireland's]
to the subject line every time a message is sent on this topic. it is not
the doing of any of us.

'Just a query!' ? Long and complicated is the answer! Flash is enabled by
default in JAWS verbosity options; so if you never disabled it, with RTÉ as
it now is, that's ok. Please explore JAWS options - verbosity options, as
they were called in lower versions - with insert-v and then arrow down
through the dialogue, etc.
