This is a rather bigger commit than I like these days, but there were a lot of
details that popped up.
The biggest is sorting out bank save to slots as this was GUI only, and was
going in direct. Having the two formats also makes rather a difference!
One thing I've not done for a long time is check the little internal messaging
system for leaks. It's a good job I checked it today - there are leaks :( and
have been for a while - certainly as far and V 1.5.3. I *think* they are all
associated with loads and saves so will have to get cracking on them.
I'm afraid V1.55 might slip a bit :(
