This machine has Ubuntu studio 16.04 now running Yoshimi ver.1.7.0 RC7
I seem to have the state save and load issue resolved, maybe I wasn't doing it
right before. 😊
I added a Dynfilter in the system effects and midi learned the desired knob.
The midi learn save works with the state save but not within the midi learn
list window with the save button.
Just for laughs I tried adding a Dynfilter in the instruments effect and it
crashed Yoshimi with no time to see any message in the reports console window.
I also have an Odroid running Ubuntu studio 14.04 running an older version even
if I was also getting it from Hermans ppa just yesterday. I assumed they were
all the same version. I wouldn't mind getting that one updated also if I could
because it works great with the EWI.

Hi Will, guess I didn't explain myself correctly. First of all I did go to the
state menu to reload it but it didn't save any in the first place so none to
select and load. I also tried saving as default with same result. Now as I
mentioned earlier, after creating a new bank root and importing a couple of
banks I had managed to edit and save the hammond organ then added the
Dynfilter then later removed it but now I try to add it to any instrument and
it crashes. Tried deleting the file and even reinstall Yoshimi with the help
of Synaptic from Hermans ppa and it's still doing it 🙁
