When I try to save it the message is Failed to save data to /my directory.
As for the Dynfilter in the instruments effect crashing Yoshimi this happened
after I added it a first time to the second effect in the Hammond organ then
when the pedal made the 64ft organ crash I removed it and tried to put it in
the third effect slot instead and got the same result so removed that one.
Since then if I try to add it to any instrument and it crashes immediately. But
it works in the system effect, go figure.

I seem to have the state save and load issue resolved, maybe I wasn't doing itThat's good.
right before. 😊
I added a Dynfilter in the system effects and midi learned the desired knob. What does the console show when you try to save it from there?
The midi learn save works with the state save but not within the midi learn
list window with the save button.
Just for laughs I tried adding a Dynfilter in the instruments effect and itOdd. What were you doing just before that? Anything that reported errors?
crashed Yoshimi with no time to see any message in the reports console window.
I also have an Odroid running Ubuntu studio 14.04 running an older versionHermann has disappeared at the moment - I suspect he's busy with work stuff.
even if I was also getting it from Hermans ppa just yesterday. I assumed they
were all the same version. I wouldn't mind getting that one updated also if I
could because it works great with the EWI.
