Thanks for that Jeremy!

With yoshimi.config in place and compiled w. 64-bit optimsations (or
w/ core2 as well) I've got an unpatched 0.060 running now but its
jack-session support needs some work yet. If I do a 'Quit session'
from pyjacksm I get the error:

Flushing log:
Session state save to
/home/iatn/jackSessions/tmpname/yoshimi-02/yoshimi-8.xml failed

So far I haven't tested with pyjacksm, just from qjackctl, and that seems
fine. I'll get stuck into pyjacksm today. From memory I can't remember if
jack session support is only in qjackctl svn, or if it's made it to the
released version.
Then when I try loading a session with yoshimi in it she
'strategically retreats' and session el no loadio

First I tried doing a

touch ~/.config/yoshimi/yoshimi.config

Better than a touch would be
cp ~/.yoshimiXML.cfg ~/.config/yoshimi/yoshimi.config

That way it should start up with your old config settings, which should
be a more comfortable starting place. The config detection stuff is clearly
flawed, so until I get that sorted, a manual copy to the new config location
would be the workaround of choice.

Your various dramas with the build trouble me. The 'BuildForCore2_X86_64'
option in CMakeLists.txt is new, so if there's flawed logic relating to it
I'd appreciate your help in resolving that - I don't have a Core2 to
actually try it out.

cheers.
