What is the exact command you're entering? It should be something
like yoshimi --state=.config/yoshimi/fmsynth1.state
The short version (-S) isn't working, that's true, but
--state=/path/to/your/statefile.state should work.

Unfortunally long options leads to same result.
Command: yoshimi --state=~/yoshimi.state
Previously i replied from alternate email, since set it default in
email-client and forgot to change.
