Hi Jeff, I have a Toshiba Protégé R700 laptop that runs with the I3 processor and JAWS. My JAWS runs extremely quickly and there is no delay or stutter, so the I3 is perfectly fine for most applications. The I5 would, I suppose, give more processing power and run processes a little quicker, but this also depends on the amount of RAM memory you have installed. The I7, as I mentioned in my previous response, is mainly used for gaming machines, but there is no reason why it cannot be used for general purpose applications, just more expensive. Would I have to buy new software? Is one better than the other?
