Hello carol,
On the Deluxe Wilson recorder I have there are seven volume settings, which
are controlled by a button on the right-hand side of the unit. When first
switched on, it defaults to volume three, and each successive button press
increases the volume and then reverts to volume one. When not playing a
message, you hear a beep when pressing this button, so you can quickly set the
volume level before playback.
