Hi Carol,

The DP-211 I mentioned has a definite prev and next button. It beeps
differently when you record to when you pause, so you get plenty of
feedback, but no speech.

All the best

Jackie,

I've got an older Olympus but, though I love it in some ways, I want
something that takes you clearly to the next or previous message etc and
I don't find there's enough feedback from my Olympus. I can't remember
its model number. Mike would need the same level of feedback as myself
so, I think, if I don't like that side of it then he won't either.

Thanks though for your thoughts.

Carol P

Anyway, I'll think about this.

Hi Carol

You can't go wrong with the Olympus range, even though some of them are a
bit on the expensive side.

Hi all,

I'm keen to get something for shopping lists etc (but not a high quality
recorder, that can easily locate the next item(s) recorded and wonder if
anyone uses one and has a good recommendation, please.

I particularly want this as a gift for someone and it would be good, at
last, to do away with the tape-style memos which are tedious, at best,
when
it comes to finding a particular item.

Thanks, as always, for any advice.

Carol P

Thanks.
