Hi, two possibilities. There may be a button on the touchpad itself (I don't recall Toshiba laptops having these though, unless they've changed), or you can disable it through mouse properties in control panel. Hope that helps.

On the old Toshiba laptop which I used for several years I was able to disable the touchpad etc. by pressing FN + f9. This avoided many "accidents" when my clumsy hands touched one of the mouse buttons at an unfortunate time. However with the Satellite Pro A120 which I bought this year disabling thetouch pad no longer seems to work - although the feature is included in themanual.
