Wendy,

You're braver than I am! Tell me what you did so far and if you get any responses! ...

Tony

I have taken the plunge. Registration was easy, and I decided to try
selling one audio book. As you say, the description part of the form is a
bit tricky. It is inside a frame, and you just need to press enter on the
right edit box to get in. A matter of trial and error, but I got there in
the end. I am now waiting to see what happens.

Hello,
I have sold items on ebay, but I have not been able to fill in the
description part of the form without sighted assistance, appart from that
there was no problem.

   Best wishes, Tony Pearce

Wendy,

I'm in exactly the same boat - can't find the nerve to actually sell
anything and in fact I've only purchased from Ebay sellers (shops). I
wish someone would do a jolly good podcast or something because, whatever
you're told, I personally want a bit more of a "feel" for what happens
before I let myself loose!

Let me know if you find anything else really helpful on this subject.
I'll do the same.

Subject: [access-uk] EBAY

I am an inveterate coward, and haven't yet had the courage to try buying
or
selling something on EBAY. However, there are a few things I would like
to
sell, and the recycling lists run for visually impaired people are quite
small, so I would like a larger potential market.

If any members use EBAY, I wonder if you could let us know how you find
it.
Is it easy to use, accessible, etc?

I am also wondering whether there are any other sites where people can
sell
things. I know you can do this on Amazon, but members may know of other
sites.

EBAY is an auction site, and I would like to know how auctions really
work.
I believe there is also a place where people can sell at a stated price
without auctioning.

Any information and ideas would be much appreciated.

Wendy
