Sounds idyllic. Info off list, of course. Thanks.

As I have just said to Andy Carol, it's near Fort William, in a beautiful little village called Spean Bridge. They do all their own growing and home-made cooking. The scenery is supposed to be majestic, and you wake up to the distant sounds of sheep and horses, it's just wonderful.

But the best thing about the place is a fantastic steam railway that travels between Fort William and Mallaig called the Jacobite. It's where they did the filming of Harry Potter, and it really is a marvellous 84-mile round-trip journey on an excursion that can be included in the trip if you like. Everything about it is accessible and wheelchair friendly too.

If anyone would like the information off list, I'd be happy to provide it.

Now, Jackie, we're all interested ...

Where is it then?

Well Andy, the old RNIB one closed down, but I think some people have used the Henderson Hotel, though I can't speak from personal experience about it. I'm sure they used to advertise in New Beacon or NB as it's daftly named these days.

If you ever work your way north to Scotland, I could recommend a cracking hotel that isn't specifically for blind people, but which is so blind friendly to get round it's sensational. (smile).
