Hi All
I am not yet a broadband user but have a question about Instant Messaging.

Have been told that if I have broadband, I would then be able to make text
phone calls using Instant Messaging, if the other end also has broadband.

Right, so how does this work I mean lets suppose I was dealing with my
emails, or working on a word document, if someone then was to
use Instant Messaging to call me, how wold I know?
Would my phone ring? or does a message come on the computer (and so
on to a Braille display?

If message came on the Braille display I can see a problem here for Braille
users, because if one is typing, one is not reading the Braille display
all
the time.

Regads, Derek
