Hi Simon,

I somehow doubt that what you say will cure the problem.  From what Pele is
saying, if I understand her right, she gets the error when Audio Spooler is
reloaded.  So even if she loads it manually, it will still come up with the
error.  I suspect that there is a temporary file somewhere that needs
deleting, but for the life of me, I don't know what it is.

hi ok me thinks we're loosing the thread here a bit.
when you start your pc, if you go in to the run dialog box type in:
Services.msc
locate the audio spooler and right click on it, then choose end process.
then reload the service by right clicking and choose start, this should have
cleared the spooler and you should have things back to normal.
