daman, this seems to happen when you download the patch. I used the installation disk again to install jaws9 and then i could download the patch without a problem. i am using xp home as a matter of interest!

Hi.There is a new update for jaws available now - but but won't work for me. Has anyone else got it working?I get an error message saying there is something wrong with my JAWS and that the new patch is uninstallable and so the setup process will close. It suggests that I fix my current version of jaws before attempting to install the update. How do I fix jaws? I remember there used to be a fix jaws utility in the sub menu where you select jaws from the programs menu. Only I can't see one there now.I'm running windows vista. ...Damon ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq -- No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.
