Having spent a lot of time in the USA recently I would say surprisingly banks got it right there, most certainly in new York city anyway. Pretty much all the cash points have ability to produce audio feedback when headfones are plugged in. Even small cash points such as those in shops have this option so that's quite impressed with that. I know couple of banks in the uk but it seems to be the norm over there.
