Hi Eleanor I've just visited the S and S website and read a bit more about it. It seems the specially written application works on a Smartphone, and that there are different bundles one may purchase. As Martin and I are interested in assistive technology generally, we just wondered what was different with this new setup to what is already outthere. But, again, if anyone is visiting SV and wishes to report back, that would be helpful certainly. I have friends not subscribed to this list whomight benefit from good feedback. I do remember it. I have to say it's easily forgetable too, a complete rip-off in terms of value for money. I was just curious about the new handset though as, no matter how much voice assistance there is, you are still using a touch-screen from what the article says, and this is the stumbling block for those with dexterity problems, and for those who simply don't want to use a touch-screen. I was really wondering if anyone had come across it so they could say. If it hasa place that bridges the gap for some folk, then fine, but it just made mewonder why.
