Hi Carol I don't think you can turn off the ribbon. It's just Microsoft making the program look different so people will buy it, least that's my cynical view. I'm upgrading because I feel I have to, not because I want to leave 2003 behind. I guess we just have to go with the flow. Once it is all configured the way I want it, I hope that will be me sorted, (smile). A year's subscription costs £79 I think. You don't get an actual CD, you download it and install to your device.
