Hi Ray.

Thanks for the url to the accessible radio. I may end up giving it a try if I cannotresolve my current problems. The re-format is a pain I know, but it's really quite nice to see my old computer shine up as new again.

You said that I could look for updates to Real Player. I'm currently using Windows Media Player version 9.00. I've been told in the past to avoid MP10 as once on, it cannot be removed from the computer. Do you think that this could be my problem? Should I download 10 and see how I get on?

Best wishes.
Andy

No, not a post about blues music on R2, just a renaming of Andy's thread on his Radio2 Real Player blues.

I'd say Andy, for heaven's sake don't do a reformat just to try and cure this problem. That's Really - pun uninteneded - mega . Drastic. I'd say learn a bit about Real Player and the settings options or maybe reinstall same, or check for updates.

Or, you could check out Alistair Kings Accessable Radio at:

www.webbie.org.uk

Yes, I know many people poo poo Alistair's approach but it does seem the simplest way out for many people. I'm using it as I write this, listening to Radio Ulster's folk programme.

| Having a lot of problems with Radio 2 but strangely enough , everything is
| working fine this afternoon. I hate these intermittent problems as you
| don't know what is causing them or how they have been resolved. I purchased
| a load of blank DVD's yesterday intending to re-format my hard disk, but now
| not sure what to do as everything is working.

| Best wishes.
