Kevin and all -

I never had a problem with RealPlayer1 until last week; it's not that it keeps asking me to update, though that's a pain, but that I keep getting that window asking me if I want to send an error report to Microsoft. The first time I clicked yes, and the details tab said that Microsoft had made RealNetworks aware of the problem, but nothing had been done about it! This sort of looks as if RealNetworks are trying to force me to upgrade, but even if I want to, the place where to do so is unclear, as they only offer a link to a page that tells what will be gained by the update!

Yes, Andy; I'll second Vince's message about real alternative. I've used
it for ages and it streams BBC programmes just fine. Real player is a
pain
in the . . . and I couldn't wait to get rid of it!

Cheers,
Sandra.
