Hi Carol

She says "Good evening"? First I've heard of that, she obviously doesn't
say it to us either then, or "Good morning", or "Good afternoon" for that
matter, (smiles). I know when she is on because the channel jumps from
whatever it happens to be on through the built-in Freeview or Sky to
TVonics, and once I get that clearance, I can then go to the EPG or library.
When I press the stand-by button after use, she does say "Entering
stand-by".

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Most times this works for me also, but sometimes we know we've left plenty
of time and still she won't say "Good evening"!

Anyway, we're just treating her with care, not rushing her and being very
thankful we have something onto which to record - at last!
