I'm one of those who's gone for a cheapo model. It's got feelable buttons and I use a separate timer because the timer on the /icrowave is a dial that spins round ad infinitum. The only disadvantage is I have to remember quite a lot about which buttons to press, how many times and in which order. But as I use most of the microwave's functions quite often this isn't a problem for me.
