Friends

The website for the Colorino has changed to:

http://www.ic-online.co.uk/

The Colorino appears to be priced at £82.24.

Jackie, is this a much more reliable unit than the Cobolt? From what you
say it seems so, but there is an even more expensive one from Caretec in
Austria, and I just wonder what the differences are.

Hi Andy

It sounds knackered then, the poor chap.

I bought my Colorino from a company called S W Retail, and I think it was
about the same price as the Cobolt detector, £50.

I must say I use them both regularly. The Cobolt detector, as you know, has

a wide head which makes it good for distinguishing clothing. But I like the

Colorino for smaller items, and for getting more detail out of an item of
clothing like embroidery and stripes. For example, today I've put on a very

deep pink top which has a grey stripe down the arms. The Cobolt detector
told me it is red, whereas the Colorino says it is intensive pink. The head

on the Colorino is smaller, so you can get more detail from tiny items. I
wanted to put some jewellery on to match the top, and I got the colours I
wanted from the Colorino. I'm a bit fussy about dress code, so I spend a
bit of time doing my utmost to get it all co-ordinated. And if both fail, I

go and ask my son if I'm dressed to kill (smile.)

The contact details for this company are:
sales@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
or
http://www.swretail.fsnet.co.uk/

Hope this is of some use.

Jackie
