Hi Baldev

That worked a treat. Such a simple solution.

Thanks.

Terry

  Hi Terry

  Sorry I missed a bit out ...

Can't you use the dictionary to mute the words "provided by sky broadband" in
the following way.

  1. Press INSERT D when in I E
  2. Use ALT A to add a entry to dictionary.
  3. Type "provided by sky broadband" in the edit box where you're have landed.
  4. Press TAB and just hit SPACEBAR followed by ENTER so Jaws says nothing
when them words occur together.
  5. Press ALT F S to save the I E dictionary.
  6. Press ALT F X to exit the dictionary.

  HTH

  Baldev

  Hi

Does anyone know how to get rid of the splash screen, or whatever it is, when
Internet explorer opens.

  e.g.
When I open I e, jaws always says, google Internet explorer, provided by sky
broadband. I'd like to get rid of the part that says, provided by sky
broadband. It might seem silly to some, but it really annoys me.

  Thanks for any help.

  Terry
