I’ll let Juan know.

Ah, that would probably have seemed more official. It would have been good if
I'd thought of it before sending out the form from the ACWE pres acct. Sorry!
Melissa will not be able to make the board meeting on Sunday because she is
moving.

So we need to wait for the form to be sent off of the ACWE Board list… am I
correct?

Here is the link for the non-elected board members to "count" the votes.

I have told Melissa about the board meeting, if someone with Juan's contact
info could do the same, that would be great.

I haven't heard anything from Juan since I sent him a short summary of
treasurer duties. I do think it makes sense to invite both of them to the
next meeting.

I was also thinking no longer than three days. I'm in favor of sending out
the ballot this morning unless someone has reached out to or heard from Juan
in the last couple of days. I was thinking we should tell Melissa about the
board meeting and inviting her if she can attend. It is technically open to
all anyway. I can shoot her a text.

That makes sense to me, Jessica. It doesn't seem like we're going to have a
hotly contested election anyway. Whatever we do, though, we should do soon.
As I recall, the plan was to have any new board members come to out next
meeting. That seems increasingly unlikely at this point.

Subject: [acweboard] Election question
Did we ever discuss how long we plan to keep the election form open for
voting? We might have; I can’t remember. If we didn’t, I would suggest 72
hours or so - this should be long enough for everyone to have had the chance
to see it in their email, but short enough to limit people putting it off
and forgetting about it. Does anyone have any other thoughts on this?
