I long ago separated payload electronics from recovery, you might want to
consider doing the same.
WRT recovery, I have previously indicated my preference for two bare wires;
if that seems too reliable, then I have successfully used the "slot" switch
that was once sold by Aerocon (a screwdriver fits the slot in the
exposed surface of the switch) which switch is testably immune to jitter
and vibration.
To my mind, recognizing that arming the recovery system is the consequencal
act is crucial; the rest of the payload can be verified working by other
means.

a jumper is removed, so the mechanical failure mode is on, not off...
Seems like unneeded added complications.....
On my Blue and silver I had no switches the Avionics were turned on by
connecting the battery.

I'm less fond of that approach when pyro charges and pressure changes from
sliding
sections together are involved....
