Agreed that Ben is certainly qualified, and also have no particular opinion 
about the offender in question.  As others have mentioned, there have been some 
lengthy off-topic discussions (coronavirus comes to mind) that long-time 
contributors sustained.

We all could use a bit of grace from time to time... it may be worth 
considering moderating posts on their merits rather than blanket-banning people.

As many others have expressed, I do hope Terry is not lost to the arocket 
community.
