Ok here is the rub there.

I've got a test stand worked out for using a turbine as a prime mover
for the pump.

Engine $200
Support gear $250 (radiator, starter ect...)
Tube bending $250
Turbine $80

That's $780 say $1000 just to be on the safe side.

This test stand should provide RPM's and enough HP to test any pumps
I'm interested in.

I need a motor and controller to reach min 50k RPM and 26.2 kW.
How much can I get an equivalent motor controller and power supply for?

It makes no sense to me to make things any smaller, this is as small as
we go. Any smaller gets harder and yeah that is a guess on my part I'm
pretty sure of.

Here is another rub:

I'm going with a solid shaft design one piece from impeller to the
turbine shaft mount.

The labyrinth seals are on the shaft.

I can make a shaft for a BLDC as well but that shaft has to be the
right size to take the torque.

My advice is a lot simpler:

Get a centrifugal pump working powered by an electric motor.
Tweak/modify/rework/redesign/remake it until it delivers the required
efficiency and performance. Concentrate all efforts on that project until
completion and don’t be distracted by anything else.

If you get past that stage, then (and only then) work on the turbines if you
prefer that over electric motor.

Troy.

Simple advice....

Get a turbopump -> monoprop peroxide running...

Monoprop can be simple turned stainless chamber , or even welded up from
various 316 stainless parts from mcmaster...

Count on CAT pack being 1.25 to 1.5 in thick

Use silver plated nickel or solid silver cat screens...

The Andrews link posted earlier has conservative cat pack design info...

After that all works make a regen chamber add fuel and double the ISP...

some pretty specific numbers.

Because I don't have time right now to reinvent the wheel.

Today I have some backing and I'm trying to make the most of it for them
and NOT for myself alone.

I will check the archives as well thank you.

Whatever Troy, this broken record surfacing once more hit me.

Odd to keep adhering to such idea, like a fanatic, again and again! Not the
ancient Clark book nonsense line Spencer clang to I hope? To only claim
they have flown is misleading this list. They most certainly have NEVER
flown, anywhere on this planet. Static tests, yes, several options, but
that is beside the point.

But I thought this topic "has been discussed AD NAUSEAM"?
Non-catalyzed peroxide hydrocarbon engines have flown, but I don't want to
be the one to beat a dead horse.

No, a catalyst is not required.
Oh, is that so, Ben? Your references of anything which ever flew with
H2O2, without a catalyst? VEEERY interesting.
