A delayed and partial response, In CA you need the specific license for the
respective activity,i.e. Fireworks license can not be used for rocket
activities and visa versa. To make matters worse you need a Class One
Rockets for liquids, Class 2 can only be used for solids but Class One is
good for both Solids and Liquids.
You need to possess the Class 2 for 5 years before graduating to the Class
One plus the respective 5 endorsements from qualified individuals..
CA loves to regulate everything. I believe once you're a reputable company
you no longer need a pyro license but I'm not positive so contact the State
Fire Marshal and/or look up the regs on line, which I believe Bill
suggested.
