Interesting, how did it end up there?
I built that as a personal project to fly a bi-prop late/early 70's/80's,
using SS 7UP beverage containers but before fruition I got immersed in
Bob's project(s) in which he needed a test article that the 7UP rocket was
ideally suited for,i.e. underwater ignition of a LOx/RP rocket engine. I
may have mentioned the web site: <neverworld.net> which has videos of these
and many other videos and info about Bob's projects including SEALAR,Sea
Dragon,etc.
FYI, I bought the 7UP containers for $5 each and hydro'd to 900 psi before
finally giving up due to fatigue as I was using a surplus hand
hydraulic pump. The walls started to yield at 600 psi and gradually work
hardened when I ceased pumping at said pressure. Probably would of failed
~1KSI. Amazing little vessels,still use a few for Jet-A storage.

Yeah Rick, I can help you being as comfortable working with LOx as am with
kerosene or water, well over 50 years of experience
including the LR-101 Vernier rocket engine in which there are some YouTube
videos of a few of my firings from the 70's.

The Army missile spec forbids NPT fittings. Most likely reason is they
could vibrate loose. I’ve seem amateur liquid systems using NPT
fittings successfully. Any advice would be appreciated. On my first test
stand, I welded the NPT fittings together. It worked but looked pretty
bad. An A&P I know suggested safety wiring the NPTs so they would come
loose. That is a lot of work.
I’m lucky. My outbuilding is also my rocket workshop. When I want to
escape I run out back for a few hours. Thanks and everyone take care.
