I have been following the following the debate on what Irgun teachers should
or should not do with the Oral tests approaching.
The problem that has been raised is serious – it is not the teachers who
will be penalized but the pupils. Adele and Avi have both said that a
teacher must be honest and certainly set an example. And I ask you both –
as testers, as Inspectors
What advice do you Avi, Adele, have for all those Irgun teachers (I hope
there aren't too many) who did not scramble and put together projects?
These people were following their union leaders who told us not to do
projects.
AS for honesty –I believe they are still telling their members not to check
them/grade them (I haven't checked).
Please do not give these teachers answers about taking responsibility –
because that is exactly the problem : the pupils will be bearing the
punishment.
What do you advise them to do? I am seriously asking you to post your
suggestions for these teachers. Should they contact you or their inspectors
individually?
