I agree wholeheartedly with Nina. I've told my class that they should talk
about a book they've read instead. I teach a gifted class and they read Catcher
in the Rye and To Kill a Mockingbird this summer besides their other reading
assignments. There's no way they should be penalized for the Irgun sanctions.

If the ministry isn't prepared to honor teachers who are following Irgun
instructions, then I propose that we teachers take matters into our own
hands.
I, for one, WILL NOT penalize a student whose teacher has followed irgun
instructions.  I will "doctor" the grade so that the students' grade on the
interview becomes the whole oral grade.  I'm saying this openly and I
earnestly urge my fellow teachers to do the same.
If the ministry objects, let them take me to court!!!!!  I'm prepared to
fight for both teachers and students.
My students are due to be tested soon.  Let any teacher dare fail them
because they haven't done projects - I will raise merry hell!!!!
Come on, teachers, we are the ones who test, not the ministry!!!
