Clarifications:
1. Mitzi wrote: "No one is being forced to take the course this summer". She
is 100% right! You can take it after the holidays! (You COULD have taken it
last year!) There are only 4 summer courses running, and these were added in
response to demand FROM THE FIELD, to allow teachers who wish to do so, to
take advantage of the relative "down" time they have during the summer
months to take the course instead of taking it next year. It was NOT in the
original plan. it was in response to teachers' requests.

2. No one is "stopping" anyone from arguing for our right to compensation,
NO ONE will be happier than me! But get your facts straight: teachers who do
the logs with their classes ARE paid as bagrut markers for the logs they
mark!

So. I do NOT see what the problem is here! (Except that, after the Irgun
representative did NOT show up to that meeting that people worked SO hard to
organize, and get to, I would think teachers would understand how important
they really are to the Irgun, and understand how we are STILL being used as
pawns! As well as our students!)

What I CAN tell you also, is that people out there are working VERY hard to
adapt and adjust the training program to be LESS demanding and yet still
enrich the participants with what they need in order to prepare their
students for the new modules, and enrich them with English literature.

I don't really know why I am writing here, again. I guess I am a sucker for
punishment. I should learn to keep my mouth shut (or tie my fingers up).
