Hi Charles and All, I've often wondere0d why traffic lights are not used for GPS devices. Many people give directions by such reference points such as, Turn right onto 7th Avenue ,go past two traffic lights and turn left onto Main Street." GPS products for the general public would have a great competitive edge, for a while, if such information were standard. So, Charles, tell the TeleAtlas folks you have a way for them to improve their product and gain a competitive edge.. I doubt Navtech has this information either. I am currently at a conference hosted by TeleAtlas and I will ask that question for you but I don't expect that information will be easily obtainable. No commercial product that I am aware of has traffic light info, but maybe I could pitch it that improved route calculations could be made based on the # of traffic lights you must go through. We will see, thanks Charles At 03:39 PM 6/12/2008, you wrote: >My teacher taught me GPS lessons today.
