Kevin,

Excellent testing and documentation.

I never lose the Bluetooth connection with the Holux but I have seen this
happen when the Bluetooth connection will flick out and then back again while
you are still in the GPS program. The strange thing is that if you lose the BT
connection because you get too far away from the BrailleNote or because the
receiver runs out of power, you cannot reestablish a connection without going
back to the Main Menu. Hence, why can the BT appear to be off for a few seconds
and then reconnect? One theory might be that the receiver isn't really losing
the connection and we are getting a bad report that it is disconnected. The
question still remains, what would be causing this erroneous report of a
disconnection?

I advise the following procedures as described in the Getting Started
document.I never turn the Bluetooth connection off. I know some people do in
order to save battery life but I don't.

I also recommend exiting to the Main Menu before turning the receiver off.

Before loading the GPS application, wait 10 seconds or more at the Main Menu.
