Mike,

I am not sure what the real problem is, it sounds like it might be the
reciever at this point, since you said that you have never lost the
Bluetooth connection with the Holux, but you have notice this with other
recievers.

I am also finding for some reason that when searching for a bluetooth
device that for some reason the Holux won't be detected, I have tested this
with it being plugged into an outlet, just to make sure that it wasn't a
fault with the battery, and I am still not able to detect the Holux
reciever. So, it sounds like that there is something defintely wrong with
the reciever.

I have also notice before the BrailleNote not being able to detect the
Holux, that sometimes I was not able to enter the authentication code,
which is 0000, when i entered the authentication code, I got the message,
"failed to pair with bluetooth device." I have tried these test on two
mPower units, and I am getting the same results. So, if it is a fault with
the reciever, is there a possibility of getting some sort of replacement
from either Sendero or the Holux company.

I will be sure to kepe a mental note of that to keep the bluetooth
connection turned on, since it sounds like it speeds up the process and
there is less steps to go through, which will allow for me to get on with
better and funner things, rather than configuring the bluetooth connection.

I will also be sure to keep a mental note of returning back to the main menu
before turning the reciever off, the primary reason I turned the reciever
off before returning back to the main menu was because with the BlueLogger
it was tricky to tell if the reciever was off, unless you got the message,
"bluetooth reciever not detected." It will be a lot easier to tell if the
Holux is off or on, especially with the physical on/off switch, I have
really come to enjoy the physical on/off switch myself.

I will also keep a note of that to wait 10 seconds before starting the GPS
Program.

Well, I will take all of the suggestions you had to offer and let that
determine if it is a Holux problem or a user problem.

Kevin
