Linda,

I am sure that you will get a lot more practice with it once school is over
. Like I said in the chat, that the best way is to first focus on virtual
mode, then vehicular mode, then pedestrian. The most important one out of
the three to get a good solid foundation that I personally have found is the
vehicular mode. THe reason vehicular mode is the most important is because
you aren't worrying about the mobility issues that will arise , some of
which include: cane/dog, listening to ambience sound, listening to the
pattern of the traffic, worrying about rop offs, safe timing to cross, and
other mobility related things that will arise. When you are in a vehicle,
you can focus on what the GPS is telling you, the commands, and being able
to get lost with the device and not worry about the mobility related things
as much.

I am sure with some practice and ggoing to a trainning for a week that it
will just unfold nicely for you. I think the hardest thing is the concept,
commands, and once you get past all of that, then it is a matter of
practice, practice, and more practice, and did I mention practice?

I wish the best for you.
Kevin
