Well, on one flash card, I have Arizona and Ohio and Kentucky since Cincinnati's airport is in Northern Kentucky, and it works just fine. It gave me room enough for the U. K. maps and a super neat replay of driving the costal road from Saint Mawes to Buckland Tou Saintes where we stayed for 3 nights.
That was in Devon. Boy would a Scone with clotted cream taste yummy about now MMM!----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles LaPierre" <charles@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Tina,Absolutely, you don't have to have the entire USA, you can actually make due with a 1 or a 2 Gig card and just have your state loaded if you would like. Thanks Charles. My question is, is it possible or cheaper to just download the upgrade and, can we just copy in the maps for the statees we need so not requiring new cards or needing to load the whole map when you may not always use it all? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Pearson" <carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 17, 2008 1:42 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: New feature October 17Chris Grabowski wrote:The new feature I will be discussing today is the ability to create a route from a replay file. In version 4.0 we introduced the ability to record your GPS session, We call it the GPS replay functionality. This is where you can record the GPS signals to a file and play them back whenever you wish. Until now you could only create an automatic route and hope the replay went along that route. Now you can convert that replay into a route with turn by turn instructions. If you are walking along the city streets and have a map loaded the street names will be used for the turns. If you are walking along the beach or woods and there are no streets to travel along, no problem as you will still receive turn by turn instructions to when you actually made the turns. You also do not need to set a destination as the system knows the end of the replay file is your destination. You can now also add notes to a replay file as you are recording it. We call them annotations. When playing the replay back the annotation will be announced at the exact time it was recorded. The Route created from the replay file will use the annotations as waypoints along your route as well. To create a route from a replay file: from within GPS press R for the route commands menu, then press F to create a route from a replay file.
