Hi Martin,

Excerpts from Martin's message of 2011-07-16 22:03:17 +0200:

However, it starts X (without any bar) and exits X after a few seconds
with the error:
Better try starting it within an existing X session, that makes debugging
easier.

Can't locate IPC/Run.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib64/perl5
/usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl
/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at
/usr/bin/i3-wsbar line 9.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/i3-wsbar line 9.
Well, you need to install the IPC::Run perl module. The package is named
libipc-run-perl in debian, not sure about slackware. You also need a few more
packages: AnyEvent, Try::Tiny, AnyEvent::I3. There probably is no package for
the last one, so install it via cpan. You can also use cpanminus instead, see
http://cpanmin.us/

Best regards,
Michael
