Can't locate IPC/Run.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib64/perl5
/usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl

Well, you need to install the IPC::Run perl module. The package is named
libipc-run-perl in debian, not sure about slackware. You also need a few more
packages: AnyEvent, Try::Tiny, AnyEvent::I3. There probably is no package for
the last one, so install it via cpan. You can also use cpanminus instead, see
http://cpanmin.us/

Thanks Michael,

I can't see those packages available in Slackware. Sorry for a dumb question, but what are the names of the packages here:

AnyEvent, Try::Tiny, AnyEvent::I3.

Are you referring to 3 separate packages?
AnyEvent
Try::Tiny
AnyEvent::I3
?

I am going to research the availability of those packages in Slackware. In the
meantime, I was just thinking if it would be possible to create separate dzen2
wrappers for each monitor? Also does it matter that I run TwinView with
Nvidia's binary driver.

thank you

kindest regards
Martin
