Not quite.  Ubuntu snapshots Sid, and then sits on it fora few
months while they do their thing.  Ine the meanwhile, testing has
moved

Right. So they make it a bit more user friendly to start with ..

 Even though testing scripts only hold packages for less than 2
 weeks before migrating to testing?
