Hi all,
Do you people have any idea where the 'hardware switch' for
the centrino's RF is present in a Wipro Little Genius laptop? The
customer service people have no clue of what I am talking
about.
Most laptops have either a hardware/software switch, which is
switched off to save power among other things.
Im having a difficult time trying to figure out where the
hardware switch is so I can use the 802.11b inside.
output, in messages:
ieee80211: loading with WEP enabled.
ipw2100: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2100 Network Driver, 0.49
ipw2100: Copyright(c) 2003-2004 Intel Corporation
Detected ipw2100 PCI device at 0000:02:06.0, mem: 0xE0204000-0xE0204FFF ->
cfa61000, irq: 10
eth1: Using hotplug firmware load.
eth1: Radio is disabled by RF switch

So I am wondering if any of you had faced a similar situation.
Thanks in advance.
