Of course 'clear' still works.
By any chance are you using vi key bindings ? If so, press
the ESC key and then do Ctrl + L. You need to press 'i' again to start
typing :). Otherwise, if you are comfortable enough with the default
key bindings(emacs), then do
set -o emacs
in your bashrc file. That would solve the problem. Thanks
