im using freebsd 5.2.1, linux fedcore3 and windows (nt) i have no problems
the best order would be to install windows , then freebsd and linux ,
bcoz its nize to have grub on ur mbr.
if u have a problem with the booting , grub will be there for the rescue.

Should I install Linux first and then BSd or the other way ?
Depends - if you want to use lilo/grub install linux first. If not
install freebsd.
depends - if you're more comfortable with grub than with the freebsd
bootloader, feel free to use that.
grub (or lilo) will boot anything for you - solaris/i386, *bsd,
windows - all it has to do is to point to the appropriate boot
partition and pass any other boot parameters that are necessary for
bootup.
