[Ilugc] Problem uploading files

There are several other alternatives too.

ifstat
iftop
bwmon

I`ve tried wmnet and ifstat - i think i lack the skill to make any sense 
of the data they display. Whenever i try  to upload a file, the  ifstat  
output goes like this:

 eth0               wlan0      
 KB/s in  KB/s out   KB/s in  KB/s out

   0.00      0.00      1.16      0.42
    0.00      0.00      0.41      2.63
    0.00      0.00      0.42      0.61
    0.00      0.00      0.11      0.00
    0.00      0.00      0.00      0.00
    0.00      0.00      0.00      0.00
    0.00      0.00      0.00      0.00
    0.00      0.00      0.00      0.00


It could even be a site problem and it might coincide with your usage of
a particular browser.

  
The problem persists across multiple browsers and multiple sites too. I 
was thinking maybe an error in some core library i had downloaded?
