What makes me wonder is that this configuration is not at all low end.

So there is no need to restrict one's options so much.

However this insight is most definitely appreciated.

Many of these things are quite new to me at least.

Give it a try. Each of the applications were carefully chosen after
months of searching. It's also enterprise ready. I use it everyday as
part of my workstation setup. Only differenence is I use Firefox
instead of Epiphany.
